The system of waste retribution using meter cubic should be run as soon as possible. It is because waste transport from several locations still uses old system.

“We use per meter cubic of transported waste from hotel, apartment, restaurant, and funeral home,” said Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, Monday (5/23).

According to him, waste could be handled well from its source through this system. People will familiar to dispose waste according to its type, dry or wet.

“If the disposed waste is too big, they will use incinerator and start the waste management,” he added.

He continued that many residents complaining about uncompleted waste transportation. In fact, they have fully paid the retribution.
