Breakwater Project Enters Fabrication Stage

The construction of breakwater in nine islands of Seribu Islands, has been started. Now the project has entered the concrete fabrication stage.

Seribu Islands Head Sub-dept. of Water Management, Mustajab, said the project will be run in Pramuka Island, Panggang, Karya, Kelapa Dua, Harapan, Kelapa, Lancang, Untung Jawa, and Tidung Island. Contract has been signed April 18 ago.

“Now we enter fabrication stage for concrete material,” he said, Monday (5/23).

Of 52 thousands material, 5,200 concretes have been produced. Environmental impact analysis permit has been also completed according to the contract.
