Jakarta Provincial Government ensures staple food stock for fasting month and Eid ul Fitr is safe as well as beef stock.

Jakarta Head Dept. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity, Darjamuni said 1,500 cows will be prepared for Eid ul Fitr. The number will be added by 123 tons of beef by June 20.
“Our daily needs is 165 tons. It is predicted to increase up to 30 percent during fasting month and Eid ul Fitr,” he said, Tuesday (5/24).
City Requests for Additional Staple FoodsAccording to him, the price is difficult to be handled. It is because many traders find big profit during fasting month and Eid ul Fitr.
“We’ll open market operation to minimize the price. Hopefully it could decrease the price also” he added.
