As many as 50,000 street lights spread in eight sub-districts in West Jakarta will be replaced with smart light emitting diode (LED) by next year.
The plan has been included in 2017 development program
“The plan has been included in 2017 development program,” said Saukani Anto, West Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy, Thursday (5/26).
The street light replacement is a program from Jakarta Provincial Government. Especially for West Jakarta area, the program can be held next year.
2,885 Smart Street Lights Installed in C. Jakarta“All conventional lights will be replaced with LED next year. LED light has its own benefit compared to conventional type,” he added.
According to him, a control room will be also provided in Sub-dept. and Dept. of Industry and Energy offices.
