Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama launched a movement of national public accessibility and inaugurate a disability and elderly-friendly Portal S on the sidewalk, Jl Diponegoro, exactly in front of the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Senen, Central Jakarta, Saturday (5/28).

His party will keep adding the disability and elderly-friendly sidewalk in some streets.

"The street is actually narrowed, but three lanes are made consistant, because if there are four lanes, it will lead to traffic jam. So three lanes are better, thus no more public transports stop haphazardly," he stated, on Jl Diponegorom Saturday (5/28).

He added such sidewalk is also equipped with a guiding block to help the blind people.
