Puddles that inundate a residential at Jalan Haji Dogol, RT 16/07 Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta finally receded. This is because cooperation formed between citizens with PPSU officers.

Chairman of RT 16/07 Pondok Bambu, Iwan disclosed puddles have been receded since Monday (5/31) noon, precisely after citizens and PPSU did communal work from Saturday (5/28) until Monday (5/30). It is done by cleaning the clogged drains using available tools.

"Alhamdulillah (praise God), puddles have receded after citizens and PPSU did communal work," he stated, Wednesday (6/1). 

Despite the condition has been happened in a long time, citizens hoped there is serious handling from the city government and related unit. One of them is by deploying heavy equipment for normalizing the drains that clogged by mud and garbage.

Pondok Bambu Urban Village Head, Dody Taruna admitted the drain along Jalan H. Dogol is full of garbage starting woods, styrofoam, and so on. The garbage clogging the trellis at the mouth of the culvert which is behind a interior factory. On that basis, locals advised to no longer littering, especially in the drains.

"We have cleaned all and water began to flow well," he finished.
