12 Poultry Cages in RW 02 Rambutan Demolished

The poultry raid that intensified in RW 02, Rambutan Urban Village, Ciracas, East Jakarta managed to control dozens of poultry cages. Aside that, there are directly five poultries slaughtered.  

It is done to anticipate bird flu virus

Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana, there has been 12 cages destroyed and seized by the officer in RT 04/02. Those poultries that have been slaughtered consist of two pigeons and three chickens. Its meats directly given to the owner.

"It is done to anticipate bird flu virus," he told, Wednesday (6/1).

Meanwhile, Sumiran (64), one of poultry owners admitted has been maintaining the chicken one year. Last Monday, there were four chickens died and then buried. Then on Tuesday, there were two chickens died. But he did not report it to the officer, yet the officer suddenly came and took some samples.

"These died chickens turned into black. I also do knot know because this is the first time happened. Whereas, chicken would be cut for Eid ul Fitr," he admitted.
