A total of 31 proposals were discussed at Cipayung Urban Village Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang), Cipayung Sub-district, East Jakarta, which led by East Jakarta City Secretary Eka Darmawan.

"Most of the proposals discussed in this Musrenbang are still focused on physical development,"

The Musrenbang was attended by Jakarta DPRD Commission D legislator Thamrin, Cipayung Sub-district Head Diman, and other relevant officials. Community representatives were also present, including RT/RW heads, members of the Urban Village Consultative Body (LMK), and cross-sectoral unit representatives.

Eka said the Musrenbang is an annual forum to collect and review development proposals from residents. He expressed hope that the presence of Jakarta DPRD members would help strengthen and sharpen the proposals submitted by the community.

"Most of the proposals discussed in this Musrenbang are still focused on physical development. We hope all of them can be realized based on the community’s needs," he said on Monday (2/2).

According to Eka, the proposals had gone through a selection process at RW level and were supported by field surveys conducted by relevant technical units. As a result, the proposals are expected to be implemented in future development programs.

According to Cipayung Urban Village Head Yulian Fatimiyah, 24 of the 31 proposals discussed were physical projects, with the remaining seven classified as non-physical. Among the priority proposals was the construction of drainage channels to tackle flooding in residential areas.

"Of the 24 physical proposals, seven are related to Water Resources Sub-agency, eight to Bina Marga Sub-agency, eight to Transportation Sub-agency, and one to Youth and Sports Sub-agency,” she added.

Meanwhile, Siswanto, head of RW 04 in Cipayung Urban Village, proposed building a drainage channel measuring around 588 meters, connecting Jalan Bambu Hitam and Jalan Botin.

"The construction of drainage channels is our top priority because it is urgently needed by the community," he emphasized.
