"Currently the floodwaters have completely receded as the water discharge has decreased and the rain has stopped," he said, Wednesday (2/4).

Yudi explained 23 PPSU personnel were deployed to a number of RWs namely RW 01, 02, 04, 05, and 08.

Even though the water level has receded, personnel remain on standby to anticipate the possibility of rain falling again which could cause flooding, both on road access and in residential areas.

"Drains have also been cleared of clogging debris. Hopefully, if it rains again, there won't be any flooding," he hoped.

Meanwhile, one of local residents, Septian appreciated the quick response of PPSU personnel for handling the inundation.

"Thanks to the personnel's quick response, the floodwaters quickly receded and road access returned to normal," he admitted.
