10 Yellow Tabebuya Trees Planted in Viaduct Park

As many as Tabebuya trees were planted at Viaduct Park, Jalan Bekasi Timur IV, RT 16/07, Cipinang Besar Utara, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Friday (2/13).

Improve the aesthetics of the area

Head Section of Green Belt and Cemetery for East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, Made Widhi Adnyana Surya Pratita said tree planting was carried out to add greenery and coolness to the public area. Many trees in this park have recently fallen during heavy rains and strong winds.

Munjirin Leads Simultaneous Planting in East Jakarta

"Improve the aesthetics of the area," he said.

He added that the activity involved 20 joint personnel of Green Troops and Civil Servants.

"This tree planting is also for rejuvenation," he added.

Maryati (48), a local resident, appreciated the planting activity today. She admitted that this park area still looks dry due to the lack of shady trees.

She often visits this park in the afternoon with his neighbors.

"Residents are very happy and can feel more comfortable playing here," she admitted.
