City to Build Flat Above Terminal

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama does not count on Ministry of Transportation decision which refuses the management of Type A terminal. In fact, Basuki wants to construct flat above the terminal.

Terminal land is our asset. It is given to central government. Then we give requirement for them also

“We want to provide flat above the terminal. Do they have the budget. They must request to public works and public housing ministry,” he said, Monday (6/6).

It is hoped the flat construction could be done at the same time with terminal renovation.

City Wants to Take Over Type A Terminal

“Terminal land is our asset. It is given to central government. Then we give requirement for them also,” he added.

Flat above terminal is inline with Jakarta Provincial Government program providing dwelling. Many people living along riverbank and green area will be relocated to flats.
