Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Sub-dept encourages grocery stalls in Seribu Islands to develop into a direct distributor. This is one way to cut the difference in prices of basic needs that are too far between on the mainland with the islands.

PKK Mart is only one, this is not enough, we need more grocery stalls as agent. The requirement is they have a warehouse and serve the stall

"That's why we encourage grocery stalls, especially those who have a warehouse to become a special agent serving the stalls. Let the regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) supplies the goods," expressed Sri Haryati, Section Head of Food Sovereignty for Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Sub-dept, Monday (6/6).

The matter is conducted, because there is only one PKK Mart willing to be agent in Untung Jawa Island but no optimal to serve stalls in the islands.

"PKK Mart is only one, this is not enough, we need more grocery stalls as agent. The requirement is they have a warehouse and serve the stall," he finished.
