Then the agency will dismantle the road median as one of the steps for geometric road leveling which is included in one of the area's development programs.

"Road levelling stage is run together with the arrangement of water channel and sidewalk," he said, Thursday (2/26).

He explained that the arrangement of this area carries the concept of a complete street with the construction of complete facilities including comfortable and aesthetic pedestrian areas, disability accessibility, bicycle paths, parks, utility manholes, water and drainage channels, crossing facilities and public street lighting.

"Work is carried out at night to ensure the safety and security of road users and personnel at the demolition site," he added.

The agency also apologized to road users for the inconvenience caused when passing through Jalan HR Rasuna Said, because during the area development phase, partial road closures will be implemented at the work site.

"We urge the public, especially road users, to always be alert and careful when crossing Jalan HR Rasuna Said during the progress of the area development," he appealed.
