Cap Go Meh Festival, 80 Transportation Personnel Deployed

West Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency deployed 80 personnel to manage the traffic flow during Cap Go Meh 2026 festival at China Town Point, Jalan Pancoran, Pinangsia, Taman Sari District.

Sub-agency's Head Section of Operational, Agus Prasetyo said those 80 personnel are divided into two shifts namely 8 AM to 2 PM and 2:30 PM to 7 PM.

"Personnel are focused on the entrance and exit areas of Jalan Pancoran, as well as several locations along the road," he said.

Moreover, he added, his side also deployed four crane trucks.

"We'll also control illegal parking there," he added.

Taman Sari District's Head of Transportation Unit, Zulkifli stated car and motorcycle are not allowed to park along Jalan Pancoran. Parking lots are prepared at Glodok Market, Petak Enam and Asemka.

If traffic on Jalan Pancoran becomes too congested, traffic will be diverted. Vehicles heading to the Asemka or Tambora areas will be directed via Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan.

"Under normal circumstances, the road is only for Transjakarta. Regulations will be situational, depending on field conditions," he stated.
