"Please also make sure all electrical appliances in the house are turned off before leaving to prevent any unwanted incidents," he added.
The vehicle safekeeping facility is also provided by the Central Jakarta Metro Police. Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Senior Commissioner Reynold Hutagalung said residents traveling for Eid are welcome to leave their vehicles at eight police sector offices and the Central Jakarta Metro Police headquarters.
"I have instructed Binmas personnel to collect data on residents who plan to travel to their hometowns to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 2026," he noted.
