Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, instructed Satpol PP to control all banners that installed in the capital. This is because its existence has ruined the city scenery.

Basuki will not discriminate in controlling banner, even though it shows up his and Jakarta Vice Governor image. 

"Let them put the banner, but we will discipline it. Principally Jakarta must be free from banner, so I have ordered Satpol PP to remove all banners," he stressed, at City Hall, Tuesday (6/7).

He admitted did not know who put up the banner. But he assess it is very disturbing, thus should be disciplined. "That's why we will control them," he exclaimed.

Besides that, street vendor at some points will also be raided. One of them is in Tanah Abang area, Central Jakarta. They have led to traffic congestion.
