Residents Appreciate Area Arrangement on Jalan SD Cipulir

Residents appreciated the area arrangement on Jalan SD Cipulir, RT 03/06, Cipulir Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta.

One of the local residents, Efriansyah (46) said previously, the area directly adjacent to the Secretary River looked untidy.

"The arrangement is very good, especially since it is not only the empty land on the riverbank that has been tidied up, but the surrounding areas such as the bridge railing have also been made more colorful," he said, Thursday (3/26).

Efriansyah hopes similar improvements can be implemented in other locations, particularly in RW 06, Cipulir Urban Village. He believes there are still vacant lots in need of an attractive development from the urban village.

Meanwhile, Head Section of Economy and Development of Cipulir Urban Village, M Tahjuddin Rosyi, explained the 48-square-meter land development involving eight PPSU personnel began in January 2026.

"This empty land on the edge of the river looked dirty because it was often used as a dumping ground for rubbish and debris," he explained.

Named Samudera Park, the location was designed with a green and colorful concept. The park features various ornamental plants such as yellow pilo, pin fishing line, and red tip, a collaboration with the South Jakarta City Parks and Forestry Sub-agency.

Then, the park area is made more attractive with dominant touches of yellow and blue on the walls and bridge railings which make the surrounding atmosphere more beautiful and pleasing to the eye.

"The arrangement is complete, and we're asking residents to help maintain the area. They could help with watering the plants and preventing vandalism," he appealed.
