Channel on Jalan Alaydrus Repaired

A water channel on Jalan Alaydrus, Petojo Utara Urban Village, Gambir is still repaired by Central Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept. It is predicted to be complete by the end of this June.

Section Head of Maintenance for Central Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept, Boris Karlop Lumbangaol disclosed that the reparation is to follow up public report. Locals said the channel is damaged and often cause overflowing water and inundation when rain pours.

"After being checked, there was a box culvert with 40 cm diameter collapsed. As a result, water in the channel cannot flow properly," he told, Tuesday (6/7).

Collapsed Road in Ceger Finally Repaired

His side also dredges the channel as long as 300 m. Because it is also strewn with mud.

"Reparation has been ongoing since Saturday and is targeted to be completed in three weeks ahead," he said.
