Posyandu-Posbindu Services Reach 1,600 Seniors and Toddlers in Utan Panjang

Throughout March 2026, 1,600 seniors and toddlers in Utan Panjang, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, utilized health check-up services provided by the Posyandu and Posbindu units.

1,050 toddlers and 550 elderly residents accessed health services

Utan Panjang Urban Village Head, Gatra Pratama Putra said, his party works in synergy with the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) to routinely provide health screening services in the urban village, catering to thousands of toddlers and seniors every month.

"According to the data, during March, 1,050 toddlers and 550 elderly residents accessed health services at both Posyandu and Posbindu, which were held on a rotational basis across 10 RWs throughout Utan Panjang," he expressed, Tuesday (4/7).

He revealed that health screenings for the elderly include weight measurements, as well as cholesterol, blood pressure, uric acid, blood sugar, and cognitive function tests.

Meanwhile, toddlers are provided with basic health services, including immunization, as well as height and weight measurements.

In addition to health check-ups, Gatra continued, his office also provides nutritious supplementary food for the elderly and toddlers in the area.

"The nutritional intake provided is based on recommendations from the Community Health Center," he explained.

Meanwhile, RW 06 Elderly Posyandu Team Head, Suhartini, explained that the Posyandu and Posbindu services held last Monday (4/6) served 60 elderly residents and 50 toddlers.

"The nutritious meals provided for the seniors at today’s Posyandu session featured soto (traditional soup) containing chicken, eggs, and vegetables, along with oranges. Meanwhile, the toddlers received steamed chicken liver porridge, vegetables, and milk," she stated.
