150 Jakpreneurs Receive Free Halal Certification Training

North Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise (PPKUKM) Sub-agency holds a Halal Certification Technical Guidance at the Creative Gathering Place (TKK) on Jalan Lorong 103, Koja District. The event, which took place from April 13-15, 2026, is attended by 150 fostered MSMEs (Jakpreneurs).

Head of the Sub-agency, Vicky Suryawan Jaya said this activity aims to increase the understanding of Jakpreneur-mentored SMEs regarding the process and importance of halal certification for the products they produce.
20 Jakpreneurs in North Jakarta Receive Training on Distribution Permits"This activity is part of the simultaneous training carried out in five city areas and one regent in Jakarta," he said, Monday (4/13).
He explained that participants are Jakpreneurs from the culinary and soft drink sectors who are already producing. Each district is sending 25 participants.
The activity is realized through collaboration with LPPOM MUI as a resource person and companion in the halal certification process.
"Participants are provided with knowledge about halal products, from raw materials to the manufacturing process," he explained.
All participants take this training for free. He hopes that more SME products in North Jakarta will have halal certification so they can expand their market, both locally and nationally.
Meanwhile, one of Penjaringan residents, Dwi Suratmi (37), admitted that she was very helped by this activity.
"I hope that in the future my business will continue to grow and can reach a wider market," she hoped.
