will be run up to next week

"The controlling will be run up to next week," he said.

Illegal Buildings on Jalan Haji Taiman Barat Demolished

Rusli explained that the demolition of the two remaining buildings is still waiting the results of a coordination meeting at the district level. This is because the business owners have requested time to find a new location.

According to him, the illegal buildings have been standing for 15 to 20 years. In fact, plans for controlling were discussed at the city level in 2011.

The urban village also plans to relocate business owners to temporary shelters managed by the East Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Sub-agency.

After all the buildings have been controlled, Rusli continued, the 200 square meters land will be arranged into a park as part of the program to organize the superior area while also adding green open space (RTH).

"We ask the public not to occupy areas that are not designated for this purpose, especially public facilities, because this clearly violates the rules," he stated.
