Collapsed Road Repair on Jalan Moh Kahfi I Completed

The repair of collapsed road in front of Tabebuya Park, Jalan Moh Kahfi I, Ciganjur Urban Village, Jagakarsa District, South Jakarta has been completed.

The repair process took two days

Head of Jagakarsa Bina Marga Unit, Dandy said the road repairs have been carried out since yesterday and were completed today.

"The collapse of the road adjacent to the water channel is thought to be due to soil erosion due to the heavy flow of water during rain," he said, Thursday (4/23).

Jalan Puke Bridge Repair Slated for One-Month Completion

He explained that repairs were carried out on a 1.2-meter-wide, four-meter-long, and one-meter-deep section of road. Ten Yellow Troop personnel, assisted by seven Public Infrastructure and Facilities Management (PPSU) officers and the local Blue Troop, were deployed for the work.

"The repair process took two days. It was covered with hotmix asphalt for added strength and durability," he explained.

He hopes that these improvements will improve the safety and comfort of road users, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled drivers.

Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Hartono (46) appreciated the officers' quick response in dealing with the collapsed road which had endangered road users.

"Officers quickly repaired the road so that it is safe and comfortable for drivers," he admitted.
