“30 percent of emission comes from household industry. It is hoped public transport could reduce the emission level,” said Mudarisin, BPLHD’s Monitoring and Handling, Thursday (6/9).

If all public transport has low carbon dioxide, it could reduce emission up to 40 percent. It means all side must support the public transport programs.

“We must anticipate the climate change and it can be done by reducing emission from vehicles, trash burning, household industry, and so on,” he closed.

As for emission from household industry, Jakarta Provincial Government has run waste bank program in each areas.
