PPKUKM Agency Hosts P3DN Business Matching to Boost Economic Resilience

The Jakarta Provincial Government, through the Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs Agency (PPKUKM), held the 30th batch of the Business Matching for the Increased Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) in 2026 at Grha Ali Sadikin, Jakarta City Hall, on Monday (4/27).

The event reflects the city’s commitment to reducing reliance on imported products and strengthening national economic resilience.

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Secretary, Nur Hidayat, said strengthening domestic industry is key to navigating global economic challenges, including the impact of Middle East conflicts that have disrupted logistics routes, driven up energy prices, and fueled global inflation.

"In this context, the Increased Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) program is crucial and strategic. Purchasing domestic products is not just an administrative requirement, but a concrete step to safeguard national economic resilience," he explained.

He added that current global conditions have directly affected the national industrial sector. Uncertainty in export markets, rising raw material costs, and pressure on global supply chains have impacted domestic industry performance.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) projects global economic growth at around 3.1 percent in 2026, while Indonesia's economy is expected to grow at around 5 percent.

As a result, the push to increase domestic product use continues to be intensified. The Jakarta administration also won first place in the Domestic Product Usage Award for the provincial government category in December last year.

"I am proud that Jakarta has become a model for other regions in implementing P3DN," he said.

Hidayat noted that as the national economic hub, Jakarta plays a key role in driving P3DN implementation. The city will continue to optimize industrial empowerment, with a focus on increasing value added.

He urged procurement officials to maintain their commitment to prioritizing domestic products in all procurement processes.

He also encouraged participating companies to make the most of the business matching event to showcase their flagship products and build synergy with stakeholders.

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency's Industry Division Head, Juanda Permana Jaya, noted that P3DN Business Matching is a priority agenda to support national industry and local MSMEs.

The four-day event, running from April 27 to 30, features 19 industrial companies that already hold Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certification.

"We thank all stakeholders for their support and cooperation in ensuring the successful implementation of this year's first P3DN Business Matching in Jakarta," he said.
