"We acted together with around 30 joint personnel from Satpol PP, Army, Police, and other related elements to enforce order at the location," he said.

Of the total of 24 vehicles that were controlled, 16 motorcycles were transported using trucks, while the rest were given sanctions in the form of removing their tire valves.

"This firm step can have a deterrent effect on violators so that they do not return to illegal parking," he added.

According to him, illegal parking attendants were also given a stern warning. The impact of illegal parking can disturb other drivers and cause traffic jams.

"Illegal parking clearly disrupts the order and beauty of the city," he said.

Meanwhile, one of the residents, Daud (39) appreciated the officers' firm action in controlling illegal parking in the area.

He assessed that the available parking facilities were actually adequate, both inside the Nyi Ageng Serang Building and in the Soemantri Brodjonegoro Sports Hall area.

"Maybe they think it's more practical, even though parking inside is safer and the costs are also affordable," he admitted.
