Pramono explained that the revitalization of the HR Rasuna Said area is targeted for completion in early June and will be inaugurated on June 22. After that, CFD will be held in this area.
"Hopefully it will be completed in early June, inaugurated on June 22nd during Jakarta's birthday," he added.
Not only adding the locations, Pramono will also move up the start time of CFD in the Sudirman-Thamrin area to 5:30 AM on June 1.
The Governor believes that expanding the CFD area to the Rasuna Said area will enhance Jakarta's tourism appeal. The CFD has now become a magnet for both domestic and international tourists.
"Nowadays, many people from outside Jakarta, even from outside Indonesia, come to Jakarta specifically just to take part in Car Free Day," he continued.
The Rasuna Said area will also be a location for various international events. Pramono emphasized that the Jakarta Provincial Government will fully support the holding of various events in Jakarta.
