"The types of trees handled were diverse, including Burmese rosewood (angsana), royal poinciana (flamboyan), rain trees (trembesi), sea almonds (ketapang), acacia, banyan (beringin), mango, and velvet tamarind (asam kranji)," she explained.

Besides routine monitoring and field observations, the actions were also carried out to follow up on public reports received through letters, social media, and JAKI application.

"During the same period, we handled 436 trees based on resident complaints," she revealed.

Reina mentioned that his sub-agency does not only focus on pruning but also routinely conducts weekly tree planting as part of urban greening efforts and to improve environmental quality.

As of April 2026, a total of 216 trees have been planted rotationally across six sub-districts. The species planted include pink and yellow tabebuia, mahogany, royal poinciana, and African tulip trees (spatodea).

"We're also focusing planting efforts on hardscape areas and green strips with minimal vegetation or those covered by paving blocks. This is an effort to maintain and expand green open spaces in urban areas," she added.

Meanwhile, RW 06 Chairperson in Sukapura Urban Village, Cilincing, Endang Purwanti, expressed her appreciation for the sub-agency's quick response in pruning trees in her area.

"We would like to thank our personnel. After being pruned, the area looks much neater, more organized, and no longer obstructs the surroundings," she concluded.
