Subsidized LPG Supply in Gambir Remains Stable

The supply of subsidized 3-kilogram LPG cylinders in Gambir Sub-district, Central Jakarta, remains stable and sufficient to meet household needs.

The assurance was conveyed by Gambir Sub-district Vice Head, Alfalast Dewanto, after a team from Central Jakarta City Administration, consisting of personnel from Manpower, Transmigration and Energy (Nakertransgi) Sub-agency; Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and Small Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency, and Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), conducted inspections at several LPG distribution outlets in Gambir.

"We also ensured that prices charged to consumers remain in line with the government's highest retail price (HET)," he said on Monday (5/11).

According to Alfalast, the integrated team from the Central Jakarta Administration conducted field inspections because subsidized LPG is an essential commodity that significantly affects the economy.

He called on residents to stay calm and avoid unnecessary concern because supplies of subsidized 3-kilogram LPG cylinders remain sufficient.

"We urge residents to buy LPG according to their needs and avoid panic buying, which could instead trigger public concern," he noted.
