Piles of waste along Jalan Rawa Kuning, RW 05, Ujung Menteng, Cakung, East Jakarta, have been completely cleared by a joint task force. Previously, garbage from the temporary disposal site (TPS) had spilled over onto the roadway, disrupting the activities of local residents.

Cakung Sub-district Head, Rohmad, stated that the cleanup was conducted in stages from May 8 to 10, 2026. Currently, the location has returned to a clean state and is no longer burdened by waste accumulation.
"The waste piles on Jalan Rawa Kuning have been cleared after they previously overflowed into the street," he expressed, Tuesday (5/12).

"The collected waste was then transported to the Bantar Gebang Landfill," he explained.
He urged residents to begin sorting their waste at the source as soon as possible to prevent similar incidents from recurring.
"We also urge residents to help monitor the site, as many people from outside the area have been caught dumping their trash here," he revealed.
Meanwhile, Cakung Environmental Service Unit Head, Encep Suryana, noted that one small garbage truck with a capacity of three to five tons was deployed to haul the waste.
"We also dispatched 18 personnel to expedite the cleanup process," he concluded.
