Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Shift Commander Badman Harahap informed that passenger traffic had already surged since Wednesday (5/13) and Thursday (5/14), as many residents traveled to various regions to enjoy the long holiday.

Based on collected data, departures on Wednesday from 12 AM to 11 PM reached 4,426 passengers using 501 intercity and interprovincial (AKAP) buses. Meanwhile, arrivals totaled 1,099 passengers with 290 buses.
On Thursday between 12 AM and 11 PM, departures reached 2,413 passengers served by 388 buses, while arrivals totaled 1,386 passengers using 343 buses.
As of Friday between 12 AM and 10 AM, departures totaled 319 passengers on 78 buses, while arrivals reached 1,113 passengers with 257 buses. The numbers are expected to keep climbing through the evening amid the long holiday period.
Anggi, 47, a passenger traveling to Semarang, said she intentionally traveled home by bus from Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal to enjoy the long holiday in her hometown.
"I happen to be on leave next week, so I can spend more time vacationing in my hometown. It's a good chance to refresh and reconnect with relatives," she concluded.
