Harapan Island Residents Take Advantage of Free Health Check-Up Services

A total of 204 residents of Harapan Island Urban Village, Seribu Utara Island District, Seribu Islands, enthusiastically participated in a free health checkup held in the courtyard of the local village office. The service was also integrated with the Integrated Service Post (Posyandu).

Secretary of Harapan Island Urban Village, Abdul Hafizh said, this effort is a routine agenda to improve the quality of public health services as well as early detection of various diseases, especially in the elderly group.
"We fully support this program to ensure early detection of health issues in our community, especially the elderly, who are at higher risk of disease. This allows for more timely anticipatory measures and medical treatment," he said, Monday (5/18).

Residents also receive health consultation services and education regarding the implementation of clean and healthy lifestyles (PHBS).
"Through this activity, we want to raise public awareness of the importance of maintaining good health. A healthy body allows people to be more active and productive," he added.
Meanwhile, one of local residents, Hasmariah (65) admitted that she was greatly helped by the health services located close to residential areas.
"We can have regular health checks and get direct advice from medical staff," she admitted.
