The West Jakarta Food Security, Maritime Affairs and Agriculture (KPKP) Sub-agency, along with the Indonesian National Police's (Polresatwa Korsabhara) Baharkam (National Police Security and Wildlife Agency), sterilized a male cat at the Palmerah District Office on Tuesday (5/19). A total of 200 cats were sterilized during the activity.

Head Section of Animal Husbandry and Health of the Sub-agency, Tanti explained the technical method of sterilization is carried out using the castration method and minimal incisions.
"After sterilization, the cat will be given an eartip tag and can be taken home by the owner," he continued.
The series of activities also included rabies animal health consultations and vaccinations against rabies-carrying animals. All of these activities were free of charge.
