Dharma Jaya Ready for Thousands of Eid al-Adha Sacrifices

Perumda Dharma Jaya has affirmed its readiness to slaughter thousands of sacrificial cattle for the upcoming Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri. This readiness is bolstered by the trust placed in them by several high-level state institutions and community organizations that have chosen Dharma Jaya as their partner for managing sacrificial animals in Jakarta.

To make the distribution process more practical and hygienic

Business Director at Perumda Dharma Jaya, Irwan Nusyirwan stated that the company is fully committed to providing sacrificial animal slaughtering services that are safe, healthy, and reliable.

He emphasized that the entire process will be managed at their Slaughterhouse (RPH) facilities, which have received the Veterinary Control Number (NKV) and Halal certification.

S. Jakarta Mayor: Idul Adha is a Moment to Enhance Compassion Among One Another

"Our semi-mechanical slaughtering facilities have an operational capacity of 200 to 250 head of cattle per day. As part of our service standardization, we are deploying 100 professional personnel, including certified Halal Slaughterers (Juleha) and a competent packaging team," he expressed, Wednesday (5/20).

He explained that this cross-institutional synergy is more than just about the slaughtering process; it is a collective effort to ensure that the meat distributed to the people of Jakarta meets the ASUH standards (Aman/Safe, Sehat/Healthy, Utuh/Intact, and Halal). To achieve this, Dharma Jaya provides an end-to-end solution through comprehensive sacrificial meat management services.

"Our services range from slaughtering and carcass separation to customized packaging in specific kilogram portions. This is intentionally prepared to make the distribution process more practical and hygienic for the community," he remarked.

He explained that to guarantee quality, all sacrificial animals managed by Dharma Jaya must undergo rigorous examinations by a team of veterinarians to ensure they are free from Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD/PMK) and other infectious diseases.

Irwan added that the meat distribution chain is guaranteed to remain fresh until it reaches the recipients, thanks to the company’s cold chain facilities.

"This strategic move by Perumda Dharma Jaya is also in line with the Jakarta government’s instructions to direct sacrificial slaughtering to official slaughterhouses. This effort aims to maintain urban environmental cleanliness and minimize the risk of waste pollution in public areas," he concluded.

Several state institutions, including Supreme Court (MA), Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition (KPPU), and Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi), have confirmed their partnership with Perumda Dharma Jaya for the sacrificial slaughtering.

Aside that, religious organizations such as the Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) have established similar collaborations.
