Head of Central Jakarta Satpol PP, Purnama Hasudungan said before carrying out the operation, his party had sent letters of appeal and warning to the sacrificial animal traders.

"We have sent a warning letter to sacrificial animal traders a week before today's operation," he said.

He added that his team went down to the field to comb the Kramat Jaya Baru road section in Johar Baru District and KS Tubun Raya road in Tanah Abang District.

"Officers dismantled a sacrificial animal vendor's stall on Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru. Other vendors are expected to dismantle their stalls or stalls on the sidewalk," he added.

According to him, his party will also cooperate with the Johar Baru Urban Village and District to help find empty land that can be used to sell sacrificial animals.

"After the operation, we will monitor the field to ensure that the sacrificial animal stalls on Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru have been dismantled by the traders themselves," he admitted.
