An innovation developed in RT 11/07, Gandaria Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, South Jakarta, received a comparative study visit from representatives of Seberang Ulu Satu Sub-district, Palembang City. Gandaria Utara Urban Village Head Muhammad Fahri said the security system in RT 11/07 uses an Electronic Gate System called E-Gate 11. The system is equipped with three active gates that can only be accessed using special access cards.

Fahri explained that RT 11/07 has attracted public attention because its neighborhood security system has been featured multiple times in mass media and gone viral on social media. As a result, Seberang Ulu Satu Sub-district conducted a comparative study to adopt a similar system in its area.
"We hope the innovation developed here can also be implemented in other areas, both in Jakarta and Palembang," he added.
According to him, RT 11/07, Gandaria Utara Urban Village, is currently participating in an Integrated Neighborhood Security competition organized by the police. The area has advanced to the national top three and is now awaiting the final round of evaluation.
"We hope this RT can win the national competition so the innovation receives wider recognition and the system can eventually be implemented across Indonesia," he said.
Meanwhile, Seberang Ulu Satu Sub-district Head Mukhtiar Hijrun said the visit was conducted on behalf of 18 sub-districts in Palembang City interested in adopting the security innovation implemented in RT 11/07, Gandaria Utara Urban Village.
"God willing, we will implement this system in our urban villages as well as in our own neighborhoods," he emphasized.
He hopes the solidarity and cooperation shown by residents of RT 11/07, Gandaria Utara Urban Village, can serve as an example and inspiration for neighborhood administrators in Palembang City. According to him, combining technology with residents who genuinely care about their environment creates not only automatic gates, but also a real sense of security.
"We also hope RT 11/07 Gandaria Utara wins the Integrated Neighborhood Security competition so it can inspire more innovations in the future,” he said.
