Thousands of Mud Sack Transported from Channels in C. Jakarta

Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management dredged channels on Jalan Kebon Sirih and Jalan Kebon Jahe 7. The effort is done since the channel almost full with mud.

Mud thickness on Jalan Kebon Sirih channel is 80 to 100 cm and Jalan Kebon Jahe 7 is 50 cm

Boris Karlop Lumbangaol, agency’s Section of Maintenance, admitted the effort has been started since Friday (6/10). Up to today, more than two thousands mud sack have been transported from the channel.

“Mud thickness on Jalan Kebon Sirih channel is 80 to 100 cm and Jalan Kebon Jahe 7 is 50 cm,” he said, Monday (6/13).

Water Channel on Jalan Zamrud Kemayoran Dredged

There are 20 personnel deployed dredging the 300 meter of Jalan Kebon Sirih channel.

“While 12 personnel are deployed for Jalan Kebon Jahe. Our target is to complete in three weeks,” he added.
