PT Transportasi Jakarta, or Transjakarta, invited seniors to enjoy the Jakarta afternoon with a city tour experience on Thursday afternoon (28/5). The event was held to celebrate Seniors' Day.

Head of Transjakarta's Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, said that this activity is a form of appreciation and attention to the elderly so they can enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience with public transportation.
"Senior Day is a time to show more attention to the elderly. Through this activity, Transjakarta aims to provide a simple yet meaningful experience for seniors to enjoy Jakarta, share stories, sing together, and create warm, happy moments," she said.
She added that public transportation not only functions as a means of mobility, but can also be an inclusive space to strengthen social interactions and provide positive experiences for all levels of society.
"Through this commemoration of Senior Day, Transjakarta hopes to continue to provide public transportation services that are increasingly inclusive, friendly, and close to all customers from various age groups," she added.
The event also featured a performance by the Swara Jakarta 80s Community choir, bringing enthusiasm and joy, while also proving that age doesn't limit creativity and sharing joy. The participants' bonding time was also rounded off with a burger feast.
