Revitalized Rasuna Said Enhances Comfort for Jakartans

Since Jalan HR Rasuna Said was officially inaugurated as a new Car-Free Day (CFD) location, many have taken advantage of this fresh route for their workouts.

I love how Jakarta looks now

The newly revamped area has become cleaner and more inviting, outfitted with a range of amenities to facilitate seamless movement for the public.

This sentiment was echoed by Indri (40), a resident from Pasar Manggis, Setiabudi, who felt right at home exercising in the Rasuna Said area.

"It’s extraordinary; there’s great connectivity everywhere. I love how Jakarta looks now," she shared, Monday (6/22).

According to her, the area now possesses a unique allure compared to its previous state. Since the revitalization, the monorail pillars that once marred the city's aesthetics have been removed.

The similar statement also came from another resident, Marisa (38).

"Being near an LRT station and a Transjakarta stop makes it so easy to get here. It's also more serene than the Sudirman CFD, which allows me to enjoy it more," she admitted.

She also hoped the Jakarta government would keep improving public well-being by expanding infrastructure and public facilities in other parts of the city.
