PT MRT Jakarta supports the policy of the Jakarta Provincial Government in the context of celebrating the 499th Anniversary of Jakarta City by implementing a special tariff of Rp 1 for customers on June 22, 27, and 28, 2026.

"MRT Jakarta welcomes the policy of the Jakarta Provincial Government which provides a special fare of Rp 1 for the public in celebration of the 499th anniversary of the City of Jakarta," he said, Sunday (6/21).
Tuhiyat explained that MRT Jakarta is committed to supporting the integration of public transportation services and realizing a sustainable urban mobility system. He hopes this momentum will further increase public interest in switching to public transportation.

Previously, Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, said that the implementation of the special tariff is part of the Jakarta's 499th anniversary celebration, as well as a form of appreciation to the community and an effort to encourage the use of public transportation.
"Specifically, to welcome Jakarta's anniversary on June 22, June 27-28, we will make public transportation free," he said.
