Djarot Hopes Jakarta will Become a Global City Rooted in Culture

Former Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, said that Jakarta continues to develop into a global city that is not only physically advanced, but also able to improve the quality of life and welfare of the community.

Djarot also appreciated the leadership of the Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung and Vice Governor, Rano Karno who were able to maintain the stability and security of the capital city.

"Congratulations Jakarta continues to move under the dynamic leadership of Pramono and Rano, but the atmosphere in Jakarta is very stable and safe," he continued.

Furthermore, Djarot emphasized waste management as a priority that needs to be strengthened. He also encouraged waste management to begin at the source by fostering the habit of sorting waste at home.

"The priority is waste management. We must support Jakarta's program to sort waste from the source. Let's sort waste from the source, and we'll solve the problem at the source," he appealed.
