He added that the policy is also part of the Jakarta government's commitment to increasing public interest in using safe, comfortable, and integrated public transportation.

Payment options to access the Rp 1 fare consist of bank-issued electronic money cards, Multi-Trip Cards (KMT), JakLingko cards, and JakCard, along with the JakLingko and MyMRTJ mobile apps.
Meanwhile, Mikrotrans, Transjakarta Cares, and free services for specific community groups will continue to follow the previously existing fare regulations.
