Litbang Pertanian Bus Shelter Gets Roof and Lighting Repairs

The South Jakarta Public Works personnel have completed repairs to the Litbang Pertanian Bus Shelter on Jalan Raya Ragunan, Pasar Minggu Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district. The work was carried out in response to a public report submitted via JAKI app regarding a leaking roof that had reduced comfort for public transport users during rainy weather.

Improve safety and comfort, particularly for public transport users

Pasar Minggu Public Works Unit Head Hendy said the team responded immediately by deploying 10 personnel to carry out the repairs.

"We received a report that the bus shelter roof was leaking. As part of our rapid response, the Public Works Sub-agency task force deployed around 10 personnel to the site to carry out the repairs," he said on Wednesday (7/1).

Hendy noted the initial phase of the repairs involved installing 12 square meters of spandek metal roofing to prevent future leaks.

In addition to repairing the roof, the team also inspected the shelter's lighting after receiving reports that some of the lights were not working.

"The roof leak may have affected the electrical wiring for the lights. We'll repair all the damage," he pointed.

He hopes the repairs will improve safety and comfort, particularly for public transport users who use the bus shelter every day.

"The repairs have been completed. We also reinstalled the bus shelter sign, which had been removed to facilitate the repair work," he said.

Meanwhile, local resident Zahra Latifah welcomed the swift response, saying the repairs would help support the mobility of public transport users.

"I hope the shelter continues to be well maintained because it's used by many people every day," she said.
