Join the movement! The Jakarta Environment Agency welcomes you to the Jakarta Eco Future Festival (JEFF) 2026 at City Hall this July 3–4. Under the theme ‘Real Action, Real Impact,’ this festival is your ultimate hub to learn, discuss, and collaborate for a greener future.
At JEFF 2026, we want residents to join the conversation
With Jakarta’s 500th anniversary on the horizon, critical issues like waste and air quality are in the spotlight. JEFF 2026 aims to bridge the gap, offering immersive and interactive sessions that make sustainability feel relevant and accessible to everyone.
Jakarta Environment Agency Head, Dudi Gardesi hopes JEFF 2026 will be the spark that gets more citizens involved in protecting the planet.
Jakarta Great Sale Festival in South Jakarta Boosts MSMEs"Environmental protection is a team effort, not just a government mandate. At JEFF 2026, we want residents to join the conversation, see the possibilities, and get inspired to lead real action in their own backyards," he explained, Thursday (7/2).
Over the two-day event, visitors can witness the debut of the Jakarta Air EWS and a record-breaking simultaneous eco-enzyme production, alongside the grand reopening of the City Hall Waste Station. Dive into eco-forums, explore exhibitions, join career talks, catch short film screenings, or get hands-on in our creative eco-workshops.
The festival features a curated lineup of events, including the Bukan Tentang Sampah (Beyond Waste) exhibition and a talk show titled Merawat Jakarta (Caring for Jakarta). Other highlights include the short film screening Harun Namanya (His Name is Harun) and a collaborative workshop with Paragon on managing empty skincare containers.
Interactive sessions continue with plastic waste upcycling hosted by Rue, reusable menstrual pad training with Daridiri, and a special children's activity, Menggambar Future Jakarta Bersama Bobo (Drawing the Future of Jakarta with Bobo).
Dudi wants the festival to leave a lasting legacy by inspiring people to go green.
"We’re inviting everyone to come over. Let’s transform City Hall into a meeting ground where we learn and take the small steps that will leave a big mark on Jakarta's future," he added.
So, JEFF 2026 welcomes everyone! It’s the perfect place to dive deep into real-world eco-actions. The Environment Agency envisions this festival as a spark to turn sustainability into a daily habit, empowering people to lead greener lives at home, school, the office, and beyond.
