Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung said the railway level crossing area has not been completed so far, causing long traffic jams.

"I'm one of those who's been repeatedly given input regarding the road parallel to the railroad tracks. The road parallel to the railroad tracks in Pasar Minggu, which passes through the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), has been underway for seven governors and has yet to be completed," he said, Thursday (7/2).

He made this decision after receiving public feedback regarding the frequent traffic jams on the route. He hopes that road construction in the area will alleviate traffic congestion.

"I decided this is a priority to resolve," he added.

Head of Public Works Agency, Heru Suwondo stated the land acquisition process is targeted for completion this year, while the physical construction of the road will be completed next year.

"Land acquisition will be carried out this year, and physical construction is next year," he stated.
