50 Taman Sari Residents Were Taught to Make Various Cakes

A total of 50 residents from eight urban villages in Taman Sari District, West Jakarta, Monday (7/6), were trained to make various cakes at the Matahari RPTRA on Jalan Kebon Jeruk XIII, Maphar Urban Village.

Vice Mayor of West Jakarta, Yuli Hartono, said that this training is a collaboration between his party and PT Jaya Fermex which will be held in eight districts.

"I am happy and proud that this activity was carried out successfully. This is the fifth such activity," he said.

According to Yuli, this training is a form of government attention and commitment to improving the welfare of residents.

In addition to providing training, Yuli added, his team will also provide mentoring and open up sales access.

"The government wants its residents to have a strong economy. Therefore, citizens are also trained in marketing through social media," he added.

Head Taman Sari District, Simson Hutagalung said the activity participants came from MSMEs fostered by Jakpreneur and mothers from eight districts.

"We hope that the skills they gain can improve their business," he hoped.

Elan Rasmana, Marketing Communication and Digital Supervisor at PT Jaya Fermex, explained that in this training, participants were taught how to make bread and chocolate and cheese steamed sponge cake. The materials were selected based on market needs and demand.

"This product is a popular e-order product. After the training, participants will also receive a goodie bag and mentoring," he stated.
