Auction Process for 150 RPTRAs Begins Next Month

The planned development of 150 Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) in the capital will be auctioned in the upcoming July. The public space that will be developed near the flats and citizen residential is targeted to be complete in the upcoming October.

According to Ika Lestari Adji, Head of Jakarta Housing and Government Building Dept, as many as 131 public spaces will be developed in a densely populated area and 19 other public spaces near the flats.

"We will do auction in July. And it is targeted to be completed in October and can directly be inaugurated," she stated, Wednesday (6/15).

She explained, fund for the development would use City Budget 2016. Each public space land has a width of 1,750 square meters.

"The concept is still the same. And the facility is also almost the same with other public spaces," she explained.

She mentioned, 131 public spaces in citizen residential will be developed in each municipality. Land location is placed in densely populated areas.

"Its land is ready and just wait for development process after the auction is done," he finished.
