Jakarta Regional Secretary, Saefullah, optimistic the land buying process for Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) can be completed before early 2017.

“MRT is obstructed by land buying process. But it can be completed by the end of this year,” he said, Wednesday (6/15).
Saefullah added land appraisal and technical importance of MRT project has been discussed with appraisal team, Dept. of Transportation, Dept. of Bina Marga, mayor, sub-district and urban village heads.
Protocol Road Repair will Be Done After MRT“Appraisal value is determined by independent team,” he added.
After the independent team determined the price, Jakarta Provincial Government will enter the cost to the amendment budget of this year.
“We’ll pay the land after the budget amendment is ratified,” he closed.
