Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama extends online registration for new students (PPDB). This is because, since it opened on Wednesday (6/15) yesterday plagued with server that is experiencing technical trouble.

He admitted continue to monitor the online PPDB since yesterday. Education Dept was asked to provide best service to the applicant.

"I've checked and the online system had technical trouble before. And now it has functioned again and then extended, this is the solution," he stated, at City Hall, Thursday (6/16).

Jakarta Education Dept Head, Sopan Adriyanto acknowledged there are obstacles in online PPDB this time. Thus his party was extending the time of registration. "Yesterday, the system had technical trouble, and we have fixed it, and the evening is already running. But this morning, the same case happens again," he told.

Formerly, the online registration was opened two days, precisely on June 15-16 for SMA. Because of technical trouble, we have extended it up to two days ahead.

"If it is in trouble again, we will extend it two days ahead," he finished.
