Service Alert: Temporary Closure of Kota-bound Kebon Sirih Bus Stop

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) will temporarily close the Kota-bound Kebon Sirih Bus Stop from Friday (7/17) at 10 PM until Monday (7/20) at 5 AM. The closure is due to road repair works impacted by the MRT Jakarta construction.

While Transjakarta services will continue to operate normally, passengers who typically use this stop are advised to use the nearest alternative stations for their journey.

According to Ayu Wardhani, Head of Transjakarta PR, this move is all about supporting the city's integrated transit goals and keeping commuters safe.

For those heading toward Kota, she suggests shifting to the Bank Indonesia or Monas stops as easy alternatives.

“We want to make sure everyone’s commute stays smooth. By using these alternative stops during the Kebon Sirih closure, passengers can enjoy a safe and hassle-free trip,” he expressed, Friday (7/17).

To ensure a smooth commute, Transjakarta advises passengers to plan ahead and monitor official updates through social media or the TJ:Transjakarta app.

While apologizing for the temporary disruption, Transjakarta thanks its passengers for their continued patience and cooperation.

"This is a step toward better infrastructure that will ultimately provide more seamless connectivity and improved public transit for all Jakartans," she emphasized.
