"I would like to express my appreciation to the South Jakarta Food Security, Maritime Affairs and Agriculture Sub-agency, the Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), urban farming groups, and all other elements who have demonstrated their commitment and spirit of mutual cooperation in making this activity a success," he said, Tuesday (7/28).

Syafrin hopes that the movement will not stop at mere ceremonial activities and that, more importantly, the spirit of planting will continue to grow within the community.

"Unused land can become a food production space that provides real benefits for families and the surrounding environment," he added.

Azizah explained that the planting locations consist of 75 Taman Hatinya PKK Park locations, 62 Child-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA), and 50 locations for urban farming activists.

"The enthusiasm of the community in participating in this movement is proof that efforts to build food security can be carried out collaboratively, starting from the family level to the city level," she explained.

She invited all PKK cadres, RPTRA managers, urban farming activists, and the entire community to work together to make this simultaneous planting movement a success.

Meanwhile, Head of South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency, Ridho Sosro stated during the activity, approximately 325 kilograms of shallots were planted. In addition, 17,500 sweet corn seeds and 4,000 glutinous corn seeds were planted.

"It is hoped that this effort will create a culture of planting in the community, increase the availability of family food, increase productive urban agricultural areas, and increase public awareness that food security is a shared responsibility," he stated.
